Through use of images\, audio and interactive elements\, Courage and Compassion provides a 360-degree perspective of the WWII experience of Americans of Japanese ancestry while exploring its relevance today. \nFunded in part by a grant from the National Park Service and American Honda Motor Co.\, Inc.\, Courage and Compassion is made possible through a collaboration between Go For Broke National Education Center\, Chicago Japanese American Historical Society\, Japanese American Service Committee\, Chicago Japanese American Citizens League\, and the Trickster Gallery. \nAbout The Trickster Art Gallery: \nThe Trickster Art Gallery is a nonprofit Native American gallery and community arts center dedicated to serving Native American veterans and their needs. The gallery features contemporary Native American art (post 1960’s)\, and augments its multicultural exhibits with featured speakers\, panel discussions\, school tours\, and educator workshops.
