After what seemed like endless hours of composing, planning, learning, and rehearsals, we debuted emergent in front of a sold-out audience at the University of Notre Dame. We are grateful to the show’s sponsors at Notre Dame: The Japan Club/University of Notre Dame, the Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies, International Student and Scholar Affairs, Multicultural Student Programs and Services, and the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures.
This portfolio starts with a “backstage pass” providing a glimpse of our final rehearsal and show preparation. Then the images shift to the show. For emergent we attempted to create a sense of “connection” with our audience and for us it was a unique and gratifying experience.
