November 20 – Introduction to Taiko Workshop
Back by popular demand! This introductory workshop covers taiko basics, hitting techniques, traditional kata and the history of taiko as a cultural art. Everyone gets to play. Everyone gets to make noise! No bachi, hapi or previous experience necessary and we welcome those who have taken our beginner workshops previously. Just bring your energy and taiko spirit to the Midwest Buddhist Temple on Sunday, November 20th, at 3:30 pm.
Our workshop is limited to 20 participants and registration is required (REGISTER NOW).
When: November 20, 3:30-6:00pm
Where: Midwest Buddhist Temple (Parking is located in the rear of the temple at the intersection of W. Willow St. and Hudson)
