

The Japan American Society of Chicago is teaming up with Ho Etsu Taiko for a Taiko 101 Workshop. This workshop, which is open to the public, covers taiko basics, hitting techniques, traditional kata and the history of taiko as a cultural art. Everyone gets to play. Everyone gets to make noise! No bachi, hapi or previous experience necessary and we welcome those who have taken our beginner workshops previously. Just bring your energy and taiko spirit to the Midwest Buddhist Temple on Sunday, April 23rd at 3:30 pm.
Registration for this workshop is through the Japan American Society of Chicago website – and we suggest you sign up soon as space is limited.
