Ginza Holiday 2020

Ho Etsu Taiko

Midwest Buddhist Temple Ginza Holiday 2020

If you’re familiar with Ho Etsu’s history you know that we started as a Youth Taiko group at the Midwest Buddhist Temple over 20 years ago. And you also know that every August we perform (and volunteer) at MBT’s annual Ginza Holiday Festival. Its one of our highlights each year. Of course, this year there will be no Ginza …well, maybe.

We’re happy to announce MBT’s ‘VIRTUAL’ Ginza Holiday! Ho Etsu has lent its talents to help create a film celebrating MBT’s Ginza Holiday throughout its 64 year run. The film is set to premiere August 8 on YouTube.

Ginza Holiday is MBT’s largest fundraising event and not having an ‘in-person’ Ginza has placed a financial strain on the temple. While the tickets for the film are free we are asking people to make a donation benefiting the Midwest Buddhist Temple (details when you checkout).

Please join us August 8 for the ‘Virtual’ Ginza Holiday film premiere. Thank you!
